Katie Green on eBay

So Katie Green is a UK model from Chichester who recently made it famous in 2010 by doing certain shoots for magazines but it seems her friends are starting to cash in on her fame by selling either her possessions or signed property and memorabilia on eBay.

I noticed one of her auctions of a signed calendar went for over one hundreds pounds yesterday. One hundred pounds for a calendar, that must be a big fan, either way you make your own mind up what would you pay for some pics of this girl? I dont think I would shell out £100!!

eBay abroad and my experience

I was recently in turkey and using the net over there was very difficult but luckily i got a local to help me use the translated version eBay in Turkish.

It was very similar and I found that the countries products were slightly cheaper than the UK.

Have you ever considered shopping internationally to get a better price?

Its a bit nerve racking waiting for your item to get to your hotel, will it get here in time, what do I do if its wrong or broke, but I suppose that makes it a bit more exciting.

Haye vs Harrison tickets

Haye vs Harrison tickets on eBay, has anyone seen any signs of Haye vs Harrison tickets yet that will be on the 13Th November at the MEN in Manchester.

Last time Haye fought people got hold of reserved tickets and you could bid on them on eBay before the seller actually had them.

The tickets officially go on sale at 12 pm today and there are rumours that a ring side seat starts at £825 but if you don’t have that sort of cash you can pick up tickets for £25-£80 dependant on seats.

Katrina Kaif

Have you ever heard of Katrina Kaif, I hadn’t until last week, apparently she is a famous bollywood actress/ British model including underwear shoots. One of my friends came across her whilst shopping on eBay for a birthday present for a girl who is really into her bollywood films.

He is not the brightest and found something suitable but ended up bidding on some photos from Katrina Kaif’s career, they arrived today at work and as you can see from the image the girl who opens the works post was not over impressed when she found the scantly clad dressed model staring right at her.

Lady Gaga

I believe Lady Gaga is the most searched woman on the internet so far in 2010, so I thought I would check out the relevant data on eBay.

It turns out last month that she had over 1.5 million related searches on eBay,,,, 1.5 MILLION, its almost worth setting a Lady Gaga related shop to see if I can make a profit.

Have any of you out there tried selling famous memorabilia and made a decent profit?

If so, post a comment or story and I will let the world know by updating this post. To date my best profit on eBay was from a resell and I made £2567 profit. Beat that.

Just Search

Just Search, is a game we play on eBay, you have to come up with a term that you can Just Search and only get one result. If you find a product that only has one result you get points for the buy it now price and points for the amount of letters contained in the product description.

Try playing Just Search with your friends and create a league table with a prize from a cheap seller on eBay. We did this and the only reason I’m blogging about the game Just Search is because I won, my friends have just bought me a new water bottle for my bike.

We have recoreded all the results so we can play again next month and not include all the products used so far.

Off the record I won because I found a misspelt product with no other matches which have a very long description getting me the most points and making me the Just Search champion for July.

Baby massage in manchester

Baby massage in Manchester, what a strange thought buying a massage for a baby. But you would be amazed on what people will sell through eBay, I found a company offering presents for new born babies as my friend has just given birth to a beautiful baby boy at Manchester royal infirmary.

I thought about throwing a baby shower or the usual alcohol related things but then I found this baby massage locally in Manchester so I bid on the buy now price and won.

Apparently the benefits of interaction with the baby are massive and the stimulation can help the baby develop. It can also inspire new parents to try new things with there new born baby.

I wasn’t there for the baby massage but it was loved by mother and baby, so another good bid from me.

Im looking for a live stream to watch the world cup live and i know itv will be showing some of the games but if i post an article about world cup streaming or watching the world cup live my adverts might start showing websites that are doing this so here goes. FINGERS CROSSED.

Hey people I tweeted this idea to see what suggestions everyone could come up with the best background for your Google homepage.

I have hundreds of suggestions but my favorite is to take this website http://www.worldometers.info and the revolving clocks and bastardise it so it fits on my home page so I can see when a species dies, or when a new baby is born. The strange ones are how many cigarettes have been smoked today people who have died of hunger today. What suggestions have you come up with?

Glastonbury or the world cup

I know this has little to do with eBay but on the other hand everyone will be shopping on eBay for there world cup equipment and for stuff at Glastonbury.

Last year a friend of mine spent £36 on a tent chairs, mats, sleeping bag etc which I’m sure if he had wanted to that he could of resold for around £100.

The world cup stuff that’s all over eBay at the minute is really expensive and boring I’m sure after the world cup you will be able to get some great memorabilia even the odd players shirt.
