Teeth Whitening Stockport
June 2, 2011
I have found it impossible to find a mobile teeth whitening service, which will come to my house in Stockport so I reverted to EBay. Where I found plenty of people selling the kits but also offering good descriptions and advice on them.
So take my advice if you are looking for Teeth Whitening Stockport then stop and go to Ebay, buy a teeth whitening kit and do them yourself.
There are so many bargains to be had and if you are after that white gleaming smile then give it a go.
Online bingo is a good way of earning some extra cash outside your eBay exploits
May 11, 2011
Making cash with eBay is relatively simple as long as you’ve got stuff to sell, but you’re always likely to get to the point where you can’t really think of anything else you need to offload. At this point, it might be worth looking elsewhere on the internet to find ways of making some extra cash.
Online bingo is a good way of earning a little bit of money to bolster the sales you’re making on eBay. There are loads of sites to choose from, offering a range of different promotions to make playing bingo online more fun and to make it more lucrative if you have luck on your side.
One of the leading sites out there at the moment is bingo hollywood. One of bingo hollywood’s current promotions gives you the chance to head to Ascot for Ladies’ Day – another chance to earn yourself a bit of cash whilst having a good time.
Other promotions special games with guaranteed jackpots of anything from £15 to £5000. There are more promotions available at other sites, so if you want to keep as up to date as possible with regard to online bingo, have a look at what’s new on ohmybingo.com.
Trading things on ebay
January 31, 2011
I once read a story about how a man had traded a paperclip for a house on ebay. He gradually traded things until he managed to get a house.
I’ve been trying something similar but so far, I haven’t got a house. I started with some blu-tac. I got a paperclip for it. Then I traded the paperclip for a drawing pin. I put the drawing pin on ebay and I got a staple for it – it was a used one as well.
I tried to sell the staple, but so far, no one wants it. I think it’s because it’s used; I was conned.
Why I love ebay
January 12, 2011
I love ebay. I love everything about it. I love the logo, the web address, the items. Brilliant.
If you haven’t got any money, then ebay is a place where you can sell all sorts of rubbish and make a few pence from it.
It’s not just about selling stuff though. Everything about it is good; the logo, the web address, the items. Brilliant.
Sometimes I just sit and stare at the logo for hours on end. The bright colours are so nice and it’s my favourite way to spend an evening. I love looking at ebay. You should try it too.
Beware of counterfeit goods sellers on eBay
November 30, 2010
With the recent news coming from the US that authorities have started to crack down on websites selling counterfeit goods, it reminded me that, in the past, eBay itself has known to be susceptible for unknowingly allowing bogus sellers to trade in fake branded goods on the site.
Personally I have never had a problem with this as everything I have bought seems to have been legit; however, I have known people who have bought replica goods like handbags and antique ornaments which, upon close scrutiny, were found not to have been genuine.
These days, it is more difficult to spot fake goods on eBay as sellers use any means possible to get rid of their stock. This is why it is always important to check out the feedback of the person selling the items before placing a bid.
Thinking about buying a car on eBay?
November 24, 2010
Many people consider buying any item on eBay to be a risk, be it a DVD or a pair of shoes, so to look at the motors section would fill them with dread. However, if you think about it in the same way as anything else, it may be a bigger risk to take but you can still get a good deal.
In fact, the two cars I have now bought on eBay have been great so the myth that all eBay car sellers are cowboys is totally misplaced. Like with any purchase you should always check the seller’s feedback rating, plus all other details about the item to see if it is as much of a bargain as it seems at first sight.
Finally, you should ideally go and see the car in person to go for a test drive and reassure yourself that the motor is the same as it is described in the listing. By doing this you should have no problem and can grab yourself a real bargain.
Improved Seller Protection for eBay
September 30, 2010
eBay are known to protect buyers from dodgy sellers but it’s only recently they announced that they are improving the protection sellers have from troublesome and problematic buyers. One of the main changes is the change in starring ratings when leaving feedback.
When sellers opt to sell a product with free shipping they are automatically given five stars for their postage and packaging ratings.
If your default handling time is set to one day and provide tracking information and eBay knows you have sent the products then you’ll automatically get five stars for despatch time. This is great news for all good sellers!
eBay profits soar with Skype sale
September 29, 2010
eBay, world famous online auction site, sold a 65% stake of its internet phone company Skype for a whopping $2bn late last September. This has seen eBay’s profits soar 16% compared to figures last year of $2.37bn.
In the three months leading up to December, eBay made a net profit of $1.36bn, or £835m which is up from £367 for the same period last year. During the Christmas period, online shopping had increased which saw PayPal profits grow and sales rocket. eBay claim that even without the sale of part of Skype, profit was still way ahead of market expectations.
New Community Hub launched on eBay
September 23, 2010
You may or may not have noticed the original eBay forums and groups center had been pulled down and taken offline just the other night and has now been replaced with a new look and new format.
Many eBay community members will notice the local favourite haunts such as the Nags Head and Q&A now longer exist sadly, though many will be pleased to hear the Round Table had survived the re-vamp. Why this and not the others, we do not know.
If you’ve not tried the new community hub out yet, go and do it now! Tell us what you think of it. Which aspects of it do you like? What don’t you like?
