London Transport ebay stunt
September 8, 2008
The prestigious London Transport Museum are setting new groundbreaking president’s by auctioning off everything including a tour of the world famous Aldwych Underground Station and the exclusive loan of a a whole Route master bus for a whole evening driving it where ever you want and having as much fun as you can on a bus.
I think the next option would be more fun as You can have lessons to learn to drive a train, or more boring drive a bus in the London Transport simulators, or if you have a business or want to get your name out there how about having a advert on over 120 bus stops in and around the London which is normally worth £80000 but if you bid properly you could get it at a snippet of the cost.
The whole point of the online eBay auctions are to help the London Transports funding of the Museum which really in the long run should help to preserve the history of transport system in London, this will happen and be on eBay from the 5th to the 14th September.
Get bidding people.

His friend K@T explains that the money raised will go to a charity called Locks of Love, which is a non-profit organisation that provides wigs to children suffering from long-term hair loss medical conditions such as alopecia which has no known cure. Locks of Love aim to increase confidence in children suffering from these conditions.
Abuse for sale on eBay
August 6, 2008
In a similarly themed auction to Mondays weird auction, where a guy put a punch in the face for sale on eBay, a seller is offering the ‘unique’ opportunity to be ‘taken down a few pegs’. The seller will send the winner an email insulting him/her and telling them what he really thinks of them. It has been recommended that the winner sends a picture. I assume this is so the sellers job is easier, as he wouldn’t have any idea about the winners lifestyle or features.

August 5, 2008
A seller from France, kirikoufootball is selling his hair on eBay. The hair has been growing for 2 years, but the seller decided to have a hair cut because it had grown to 8.5inches. He claims the hair smells good because it is “something (he) cares aboutâ€. Once again, no bids and I’m sure there won’t be!

A pretty desperate man is offering the opportunity to punch him in the face on eBay. The seller will travel to the winner’s location and stand still whilst the punch is delivered. The winner can use bare knuckles or a boxing glove and the seller will sign a waiver to absolve the winner of any damage caused by the punch. Currently the seller has no bids and has set a starting price of $1m however he is willing to consider lower bids- which implies that this is a joke auction.
Alien wood face on eBay
August 1, 2008
dorindalynn, a seller from America has started an auction for what he claims to be the face of an alien on a piece of pine. It seems he is trying to cash in on the back of the recent x-files film hype. Supposedly the image is 100% natural and was ‘created by mother nature’. Once again, as with many of these weird auctions no one has bid- and I’m sure no one will!

An eBay seller is offering the ‘unique opportunity’ to bid on an onion ring shaped like the infinity symbol. Supposedly the onion ring was purchased from a fast food restaurant, however the seller jokes it may infringe copyright if they release the establishment’s name. The onion ring is in great condition.

Marty McFly’s hoverboard (from Back to the Future 2 and 3) is on sale on eBay. The starting bid for this interesting item is $30,000 (approximately £15,180). Unsuprisingly the hoverboard is actually a prop that was used in the movie and does not work.
The board is made from wood and comes with two silver hovering disks (which don’t work!). The board is covered in pink plastic…
