fireproof spray again another random product or subject that is being over looked on eBay if you google the term fireproof spray it comes up with one hundred and fifty six thousand results but when you type it in to eBay and search for it, you get no results at all, so why are these niche industries being missed, or should I set up a business and target them through eBay perhaps I could make a killing.

Have you ever dominated a product on eBay as it must be easier than google as your listing gets higher the more time that passes.

Ideas for the bank holiday

One thing people always look forward to are bank holidays but when it actually comes to have the Friday or Monday off people struggle to find things to do, this is why I’m thinking that the traffic online must go up and eBay must get a lot more visitors so why not schedule your auction to finish on these bank holidays so people who cant normally bid will have the chance to buy your product.

Has anyone tried this before let me know because there are not many bank holidays left this year except for Christmas and I’m sure all the online shopping dynamics will change at that time.

Nokia N97 eBay

I am getting desperate for a new phone as Vodafone the cheeky scammers tied me into a 18 month contract when they sold me my last up grade without telling me. Granted the phone I got was free and probably to make Vodafone get any profit I would have to be tied in for that long, I just wish they had told me, anyway that’s enough of a rant because I’m thinking of taking things into my own hands and buying the new phone I want from eBay, if I upgrade early I would have to go to a Vodafone store and buy it out right for ~£800 where the sale price on eBay is about £400. So do I take the plunge?

Golf on eBay

I always quite fancied the idea of playing golf, it seems like a really nice way to spend the afternoon, something about being in the outdoors and the elements. Well, I had my first round on a golf course yesterday. My Mum and Dad were playing at a lovely course and needed someone to caddy for them so I stepped up and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it. It probably helped that it was a glorious day but even so, I think it’s something I might seriously think about taking up properly. So when I got back I started looking at gear, and it turns out it’s a pretty expensive pastime! not only have you got to get the clubs, you’ve also got the kit, shoes etc as I found out that there is definitely a dress code and etiquette when I turned up in my denim shorts and flip flops! For a reasonable set of clubs you’re paying about £1000! but if you have a look on eBay you can pick up some pretty good bargains and get kitted up for about half the cost.

Gardening on eBay

My friend recently bought me some kitchen herbs for the windowsill; some coriander, basil and a chilli plant. I have to say it gave me a bit of inspiration to get my hands dirty and try a bit of gardening. Being someone who loves anything to do with nature, I have always liked the idea of pottering around the garden but since moving into my current house have felt quite restricted only having a small patio to work withbut decided to have a wander round a few garden centres for ideas. Being a bit of an eBay user I thought I would have a look on eBay first but didn’t have much success, but having a look round the garden centres found lots of ideas so my patio is now full of pots brimming with pretty pastol coloured flowers and hanging baskets with strawberry plants. I have officially joined the green finger brigade.

Big Brother Tickets

Its that time of year when Davina gets out her summer dresses and puts on her glam make up and makes her appearance o channel 4 by hosting the normal big brother its normally this time of year that I start to see eBay getting flooded with big brother related articles and the best way to make money is to sell the tickets to the live shows. They don’t go for much but I have learnt that its normally a group of 3 or 4 people that want to go so if you can see a bumper amount you will make a good profit. Give it a go!

Divorce

Divorce, what a crazy subject and something that you would never really think of searching for on the Internet never mind eBay but hit-wise one of the best sites out that gives the user accurate result on how many times keywords are searched for have that the keyword divorce is searched for millions of times on the natural listings and now people are searching for it on eBay so I had to try it my self. To my astonishment its true there are 1293 results available from the keyword Divorce for purchase today, ranging from books, DVDs, studies, and even fancy dress outfits, I’m sure there is a bigger market that no one is cornering.

I might try and sell some items on eBay under term Divorce and see if they get any people watching or bidding on them and if I do I will try and flood the market and sell all Divorce related products to see if I can make a serious profit out of a really quite sad situation, but look on the bright side I could sell someone something that might cheer them up. Do you think I should do this or not? Let me know your thoughts?

Nickelback tickets for 2009 world tour

Do you love Nickelback, do you want tickets, I know I do and I think I will be going to more than one of the concerts that they will be doing in 2009. The funny thing is they might be doing a season ticket format like in football, so if you want to attend more than one concert you will have all the tickets you need and you can re-sell the areas of the world that you cant get to on platforms like eBay.

If you managed to get the season ticket would you try and go to all the concerts of would you try and make some money back and re-sell them?

Red Ring of Death

The red ring of death is known out there by the xbox 360 community as death for you xbox. When you boot up your xbox it has a glowing green light that spins then settles and if you ever turn your xbox on and it goes red it simply means games over and you will have to send you xbox off to Microsoft.

So many of my friend have had this problem and I’m not sure of the reason why this happens but up-to now my box has stayed green, (touch wood).

Has this ever happened to you as people have apparently getting rid of there red xbox rings of death by selling the broken box on eBay.

eBay shops

I have noticed more and more, eBay users are setting up there own stores or shops on the ever growing site. I am starting to think should I do one myself along the lines of a bric a brac shop that sells everything and see if it converts better than the landing page that eBay automatically gives you, What do you think or have you got first hand experience of this. I have noticed more and more web designers are starting to offer this facility so they will not just offer you web design for your main shop but they will also build you a eBay shop page that you can then sell your products looking like its your actual site? How important do you think this is?
