Cure for flu

Last year google said that they would be able to predict the next flu epidemic that happens around the world as most people when they get flu like symptoms google signs of flu and the results are stored in the main data base at goggles headquarters. The second thing that will help them is the amount of people trying to find remedies on eBay as there are hundreds of products that get sold on eBay every time winter or a epidemic happens. The stats should be collated and the world can prepare itself every time this happens. Wouldn’t it be handy to have this information and you could try and be healthier or at least be prepared for any illness.

The grand national

Its the grand national this weekend and its estimated that there will be over 8 million pounds spent on national bets and the main race itself.

On eBay you can buy lots of memorabilia to do with the grand national and it might be an idea if they set up a bidding system in which you can get tips for the big race or even have a system where you can buy a piece of the action so you can bet on a horse through a normal bidding system and the odds get inflated when more bids are made so the final winner gets all the other bids towards the bet. I dont think someone will do it but I’m sure there is a big market for it. What do you think?

Sebastian Chabal Sale Sharks

You may be aware for the past few years the french monster Sebastian Chabal has been playing for the Sale Sharks at Edgley park in Stockport, taking the league by storm, now has he has been playing some wonderful rugby for Sale and France in the six nations the world has stood and taken a big interest and its rumored that he will be leaving Sale to go back to his beloved France to see out his career.

This begs the question as always what shirts or signed products do you have related to Sebastian Chabal that you can auction on eBay as most people who support Sale or people who are big rugby fans will want a peace of this legends career. Make some cash and sell it on eBay when he goes.

Text messages on eBay

Try and type text messages into google and you get thousands actually millions of results so its obvious that there is a massive market for the mobile phone world and text messages but when you type it in to eBay you only get results of people selling t-shirts or LED screens that produce a literal text message. This makes me think that over 70 million text messages minimum are sent in the UK alone every month so there must be a market on eBay to set up a company that offers cheap text messages or bundle packages of them for cheap costs, as if you can get a supplier who can give 100 messages for a pound when a conventional supplier would charge £12 you could make a killing when people bid on them. Would anyone help me out to do this? Or why not steal my idea as most other people do.

Everton tickets going cheap on eBay

One or two individuals are managing to get hold of tickets for Wembley and the match against Man United which I have previously written about here the funny thing is people are now cashing in on the stupid Man U fans who think that it is a done and dusted game and they will bid on accommodation and now even false tickets that I have seen floating around eBay for the final.

The really funny thing I have seen is one bidder called Manuforlife has spent over £300 on a ticket for the final which I know is blatantly a fake and he will never see that money again as its probably half way round the world in some random country laughing there socks off.

If your a con artist I’m sure there is some money to be made out of the dumb united fans.

Singles dating

This is one of the strangest things I have come across on eBay but it turns out that if you type dating into google it comes up with normal websites but when you type dating into eBay it brings up lots of strange and some disturbing items. One disturbing item is a book that helps you hypnotize your date so you can tempt the into unlawful sexual acts check it!!

The write up for it reads:

I’m not sure if it works but I don’t think that it should appear on eBay or appear when you type in dating as that’s not the sort of thing people who are looking for a date would want to try as they wouldn’t want it happening to themselves.

The other weird one is someone is trying to cash in on peoples dumbness by offering them there own dating site which once bought and set up they do a simple build and hope they get traffic to it with actually trying to optimise it and put it in front of the competitive industry. Waste of money!! My tip would be to stay away.

Cheap flights

At the end of this month I’m thinking of getting away from it all and booking holiday to get a bit of sun. If you have the time and patience you can find a hotel through looking at the usual sites then find the hotels site and book it for cheaper direct, but then you have to arrange your travel, and I was hoping to try and find cheap flights on eBay but it seems that the only thing people are selling holiday related is ted stockings or compression socks for blood clots, when I think there could be a killing made when it comes to selling flights on eBay.

I have found one or two people who are selling vouchers for flights but not the actual flights, so watch this space as I think someone will read this and start up a section for it.

Chain and sprocket sets

I have recently been looking for a chain and sprocket sets to buy for my Dad’s fast approaching 60Th B’Day. I always find it such a nightmare trying to think of presents for people, I never feel satisfied unless I feel like I’ve got the perfect gift for that person. For women it’s relatively easy… perfume, pamper treatments, clothes, chocolate! but men are a completely different kettle of fish. They seem totally indifferent about everything and when you ask the what they want they just say they don’t mind! that’s a great help! So anyway I was quite pleased when I came up with this idea for my Dad as it’s both practical and fits with his love of extreme sports, well done to me. I have to say I would rather he didn’t go out biking, as I get nervous whenever he does, but there is no stopping him there so as I can’t afford a bike I thought this would be quite a good little gift. Anyway, I had a good search on the net, and after much looking, I found that the cheapest place with the most choice was easily eBay. So my recommendation to you is if your looking for bike parts or chain and sprocket sets in particular then eBay is the place.

Airplane crash in new york water.

I wake today to find that a plane carrying 155 people crashed in a new york patch of water after it flew through a flock of geese and its engine was destroyed. The amazing part about it is they should have broke up when it hit the water and at lest sank but the plane landed on the water perfectly and the plane floated until people got off it safely.

My girlfriend is scared stiff of flying and has ask me to look on eBay for all the things that we would need in the even of a air crash or emergency landing. EBay is amazingly accommodating as I can buy life jackets, neck braces, torches, and all sorts of wonderful life saving things including the good old lucky four leaf clover.

My tip of the day is be prepared and shop on eBay and get all the stuff you need in case of these sorts of crazy events.

One of the things that amazes me about eBay is the amount of promotional coupons and voucher codes that you can get your hands on for all types of things, for instance you can get promotional codes that give you reduced fees for listings or promotional codes that give you money back for products that you buy from corporate companies.

If you search eBay for for voucher codes you get all different types of people selling the actual vouchers tat will get you money of products that you want to buy, like one gentleman who is selling a voucher that if you spend over £300 at comet you will get free insurance on your product and £50 off the total cost. That’s not bad when you think the insurance could cost you around another £50 over a year and it covers all sort of fire, theft and accidental damage.

The smart businesses are selling there own vouchers to get 10% off there products and they seem to be selling them for 99p so if you are looking to buy a new TV or sofa check out eBay for an appropriate voucher and you might save yourself hundred for the sake of 99p.
