eBay Theif Arrested

A 16 year-old who has stolen more than $100k worth of technology equipment from a school in Alaska has been arrested. The pupil at Delta High School was tracked down by state troopers through eBay. The investigators discovered several of the stolen items for sale on the auction site and once again the culprit was identified. The items included laptops, projectors and surveillance equipment which have considerable resale on the auction site.

EBS International customers will be reimbursed

PayPal Australia has confirmed it will be reimbursing customers who didn’t receive their items following the liquidation of EBS International. EBS sold exercise equipment and bikes on eBay amongst other sites, however they went into liquidation last week. PayPal has said it will reimburse customers of EBS who didn’t receive a refund for their items and estimates some 2,500 customers will have to be refunded, however they will not release how much this will cost the payment gateway.

Alien wood face on eBay

dorindalynn, a seller from America has started an auction for what he claims to be the face of an alien on a piece of pine. It seems he is trying to cash in on the back of the recent x-files film hype. Supposedly the image is 100% natural and was ‘created by mother nature’. Once again, as with many of these weird auctions no one has bid- and I’m sure no one will!
