Great white attack
January 21, 2009
I have always had a real passion for the sea & fascinated by everything in it, but sharks have always been my real interest, in particular the infamous great white. So I decided to see what I could find on eBay – apart from the usual posters, t shirts, fridge magnets you can also get some awesome DVDs which should be a great watch. One DVD that I can really recommend is about this South African, a great white expert, who is the only person to have free-dived with the great animals. I mean, I would love to see these amazing animals up close up I have to say it would definitely be in a cage & even then I think the nerves would kick in, so to watch this crazy ass dude jump into the water in only his wetsuit was pretty gripping stuff. I’d always thought if you were in the water with a great white shark you would probably be getting out of it minus a limb or two but he managed to survive watching a whitey feed off a mammoth whale carcass unscathed but the really impressive (if that’s the word) bit was when he was diving in Shark Alley, South Africa and there were 3 of the mighty beasts swimming around. Anyway if you get the chance it’s definitely worth a watch

Ugg boots
January 20, 2009
My girlfriend has got two pairs of ugg boots as her family and myself didn’t communicate over Christmas and ended up buying her the same thing, fortunately they were both different colour and she love them both. The question is do you have to buy a protectant or is there a care kit for them does anybody know or have you ever seen anything like this on eBay if so let me know?
I have heard of a stain and a water prtectoctor but cant find them for sale on eBay does anyone else have any cheap sources? Let me know if you do?
Killzone 2
January 19, 2009
If you love gaming and have PlayStation 3 check out eBay as one or two individuals have got a few pre-released copies of the game killzone 2, which is not due to be released until the end of February.
The auction is alredy over £200 and doesnt look like slowing down. Check it.
I suppose there are benefits to get a copy so early and being able to practise and get better than everyone else before they get there copy but I don’t know if its just me but I love playing against lie competitors and its not the same playing the normal game.
Hangover cures on eBay
January 18, 2009
Yesterday I went through an epic day of drinking and today I’m looking for the answer to an epic hangover as in a few hours I have to play football. I think the answer is to be prepared and when you search eBay for the answer or the cure it comes up with hundreds of solutions, so I might buy a few and next I feel like this I can have a go at the miracle cure that every claims they can sell you for a price.
The results bring over 250 answers including tablets, books, DVDs and clothes, with the answer to the painful hangover printed on them.
Eastenders
January 17, 2009
My misses is obsessed with eastenders, she use to hate it but since we got a sky plus box she records every episode and watches them over and over again and she is even asking me if I can get hold of old copies of eastenders to catch up with what she has missed. Fortunately eBay has come to the rescue and you can find if you search for long enough every episode from now right back to 1978.
I believe I have bagged myself a real bargain by buying the past 2 years worth of episodes for £20 and my misses is over the moon.
Airplane crash in new york water.
January 16, 2009
I wake today to find that a plane carrying 155 people crashed in a new york patch of water after it flew through a flock of geese and its engine was destroyed. The amazing part about it is they should have broke up when it hit the water and at lest sank but the plane landed on the water perfectly and the plane floated until people got off it safely.
My girlfriend is scared stiff of flying and has ask me to look on eBay for all the things that we would need in the even of a air crash or emergency landing. EBay is amazingly accommodating as I can buy life jackets, neck braces, torches, and all sorts of wonderful life saving things including the good old lucky four leaf clover.
My tip of the day is be prepared and shop on eBay and get all the stuff you need in case of these sorts of crazy events.
Hugo boss suit
January 15, 2009
I have always loved Hugo boss clothing and I’m always weary when it comes to spending around £700 plus on things like a new suit even though I spend most of my week suited and booted so I like to dress nice for any potential meetings that I have to attend.
Don’t get me wrong if you shop around on line you can normally get one for around £400 but I am truly shocked, when I searched eBay for a Hugo boss suits, I found that they were selling for around £40, granted you have to pay postage from America but surely that has to be a massive saving even if you have a large postage bill.
Promotional coupons
January 14, 2009
One of the things that amazes me about eBay is the amount of promotional coupons and voucher codes that you can get your hands on for all types of things, for instance you can get promotional codes that give you reduced fees for listings or promotional codes that give you money back for products that you buy from corporate companies.
If you search eBay for for voucher codes you get all different types of people selling the actual vouchers tat will get you money of products that you want to buy, like one gentleman who is selling a voucher that if you spend over £300 at comet you will get free insurance on your product and £50 off the total cost. That’s not bad when you think the insurance could cost you around another £50 over a year and it covers all sort of fire, theft and accidental damage.
The smart businesses are selling there own vouchers to get 10% off there products and they seem to be selling them for 99p so if you are looking to buy a new TV or sofa check out eBay for an appropriate voucher and you might save yourself hundred for the sake of 99p.
Water walls
January 13, 2009
This Friday just gone I went to a rugby match watching Sale Sharks, and afterwards we stopped off at a local Indian restaurant which had some fantastic water wall features. The water wall consisted of a two layer piece of glass that was filled with water and had bubbles pumped into it to create fantastic shapes that memorized me whilst eating my curry.
I thought they were that fantastic I would look them up on google and see who produces them, and to my surprise when I searched eBay for water walls that it came up with over 100 results, granted a lot of them were water features for gardens but there was the odd company that were offering there services to fit them in restaurants and pubs and even bubble rooms which I understand are relaxation rooms that are filled with water walls and the bubbles relax the user.
I could do with one of those at home and if I ever get a big enough house to have my own games room I’m tempted to have my very own water wall to keep me entertained and relaxed. I would have to have a water wall that I could alter and change the bubbles to make shapes or water wall images that I wanted to appear.
Thank god for eBay
January 12, 2009
I recently upgraded my phone with a well known service provider (SP) but I went away for the weekend and left my charger in the bedroom, so I needed to buy a new one and after talking to my SP and having a massive argument with as I spend so much money with them they told me it didn’t matter what I spent on a monthly basis I still have to pay the full price for a charger. The way I got round it was they refunded the money on my monthly bill. So I bought one from the shop, a month later when the warranty ran out I found my old charger and tried to take my new one back they refused saying I had, had it to long and I had no packaging, so I simply sold it on eBay and got more for it than I paid new from the shop. So thank god for eBay.
