Early Christmas shopping on eBay

I am one of the those people that you see on Christmas Eve running around manically with a flushed face laden with bags trying to get the last of my shopping, even though every year I make a promise to myself that I will not put myself through that again and try and get organised and do my Christmas shopping well in advance so I can actually enjoy the pre-Christmas run up without the headache of present shopping and enjoy the festivities on Christmas Day rather than collapsing from exhaustion but this year I think I am actually going to do it. Now I do have friends that swear by doing it in the January sales but I am not going to take it to that extreme, I think August is a good compromise. So I have started having a look on eBay and there is loads of great stuff on there; DVD box sets, vintage jewellery and his and hers fragrances for half the price so not only am I going to have a great Christmas this year but I might have a bit of money to enjoy myself when it gets here too! hurray!

LOL, sounds exactly like me. Last year I had a family Christmas party on the 23rd which went on until the early hours, and having done none of my shopping by that point, ended up having to spent Christmas eve running round London in desperation looking for the one and only present my wife hadn’t already bought – her own. Never again. I’ve already started hunting for a gift online to avoid getting into that situation this year.
