Katie Piper Acid Attack

October 30, 2009

Last night I went out for a meal and a few beers with my girlfriend and a couple I work with and we got talking about the TV program that was airing that last night called Katie Piper my beautiful face, a documentary on channel 4. Quite literally it broke my heart to see such a beautiful girl severally burnt by sulphuric acid arranged by her ex boyfriend and his mate. The animals if you can call them a form of life arranged to thrown the acid all over her and it quite simply burnt or melted the skin. She is so brave and is struggling to regain her life and confidence because of the terrible burns and all I wanted to do is give her a big hug and help in some way. I needed to blog and let her know that myself and everyone I know is thinking of you, and wishing you more than all the best and we hope the bastards who did this rot in hell.

If you find this blog post a comment and show your support for Katie.

“Acid…WHAT?” is the most common reaction when I try to explain to friends, family and acquaintances what my work at the Acid Survivors Trust International (ASTI) is about. This is then usually followed by my trying to get ideas of recreational drug use and problems of acid reflux out of people’s heads and telling them about what acid in fact represents to many thousands of people: a weapon used to destroy their lives…

Acid Violence must stop. Please support the Acid Survivors Trust International in our world wide campaign to bring this brutal form of violence to an end. Unfortunatly Katie Piper is not the first victim, and is most unlikely to be the last

Got something to say?
