What NOT to Sell on eBay?

As I talked about in my last post, there are no real restrictions to what you can sell on eBay (other than the illegal, etc, type items). However, there are some things that just won’t sell – 1, because there are a lot of people trying to sell them, and 2, there are other sellers selling them cheaper.

So, before listing your item, make sure you check out who else is selling your items – what condition they are in, what prices they are charging, where they are selling it, etc. If they’ve got a better deal going, it might be worth holding back listing your item. Or in the case of books, dvds, etc (if the seller is a dealer in such items), it might be worth contacting them to see if they wish to list them on your behalf.
